SONATA ARCTICA TO TOUR FINLAND WITH RECKLESS LOVE AND LUNA KILLS IN AUTUMN 2023

Powerful melodies and high quality live shows – Sonata Arctica are without a doubt one of the leading pioneers of Finnish metal music. After a successful acoustic tour in last year, the five-piece is returning full power to the stages in autumn 2023. The ARCTIC STORM FINLAND TOUR will lead Sonata Arctica throughout six Finnish cities. On board Finlands hottest hard rock sensation Reckless Love as Special Guest and domestic storming newcomers Luna Kills.

SONATA ARCTICA release new single “VICTORIA’s SECRET” from upcoming “Acoustic Adventures – Volume Two” album!

Originally released in 2003 on “Winterheart’s Guild”, the song “Victoria’s Secret” now sees the light of day for a second time in its new acoustically shape.
“Victoria’s Secret” is the second single taken off of Finnish power/melodic metal icons SONATA ARCTICA’s second part of their “Acoustic Adventures”, due out on September 30th, 2022 via Atomic Fire!

ACOUSTIC ADVENTURES – VOLUME TWO

Finnish five-piece SONATA ARCTICA need no introduction: besides significantly influencing the power/melodic metal scene, they’re a band that’s not only famous for consistently delivering studio albums of high quality but also for experimenting and breaking out of their musical comfort zone. Foremost resulting in some aptly called »Acoustic Adventures« touring cycles, but also in the release of »Volume One« of their very first acoustic album which saw the light of day in early 2022. Today, SONATA ARCTICA are very pleased to announce that the continuation and second chapter of the aforementioned record is set to be unleashed on the world on September 30th, 2022 via Atomic Fire – to complete this special saga and to finally celebrate the kick-off of their next, multiply postponed »Acoustic Adventures« trip in order to lift up the Corona-shaken Finnish and European mainland minds. Like the first part, the new offering was recorded and produced by Mikko Tegelman alongside the band at Studio57, Finland while the cover artwork was designed by Janne Pitkänen.

LATIN AMERICAN TOUR POSTPONED TO 2023

ENGLISH: Despite being as careful as possible, we are now in the situation where several members of the tour party unfortunately have contracted the covid-virus. We spent time together rehearsing for the tour and that’s how it spread among us. This unfortunately means that we are not allowed to fly next week and therefore cannot start the planned Latin-American Tour.  We will have to reschedule the tour to March/April 2023. This is a truly horrible situation and we´re devastated but hope that you understand that this is out of our hands, support our promoter, and stick with your ticket while looking forward to see you in march/april 2023.

PORTUGUESE: Apesar de sermos os mais cuidadosos dentro do possível, estamos agora na situação em que vários membros da turnê, infelizmente testaram positivo para Covid-19. Passamos um tempo juntos ensaiando e assim aconteceu a transmissão entre nós. Infelizmente, por conta disso, não conseguiremos voar na próxima semana e iniciar a nossa mais nova turnê pela América Latina. Teremos que remarcar a turnê para março/abril de 2023. Esta é uma situação realmente horrível e estamos devastados, mas espero que vocês compreendam, apoiem nossos promoters e mantenham seus ingressos até que possamos nos encontrar entre março/abril de 2023.

SPANISH: A pesar de haber sido lo más cuidadosos posible, estamos atravesando una situación donde varios integrantes de la gira han contraído coronavirus. Hemos estado ensayando juntos para la giras y fue así cómo nos contagiamos. Lamentablemente, esto significa que no podremos tomar el vuelo la semana que viene y comenzar con la gira latinoamericana. Tendremos que reprogramar la gira para marzo/abril del 2023. Es una situación verdaderamente espantosa y estamos todos devastados, pero esperamos que comprendan, apoyen a su promotor y sigan con sus tickets mientras esperamos vernos en marzo/abril 2023.
