Sonata Arctica have been confirmed for Forces of Metal (NL). The festival will take place on June 8-9 2012. The correct show date will be announced as soon as it’s confirmed.

Tänään Suomessa julkaistavaksi tarkoitetun DVD:n toimituksissa kauppoihin on ollut ongelmia, jotka ovat johtuneet jakeluyhtiön tietojärjestelmistä ja Suomen muista Euroopan maista poikkeavasta julkaisupäivästä. Toimitukset ovat nyt kuitenkin käynnissä ja kauppojen hyllyille DVD saadaan osaan maatamme jo viikonlopuksi.

Sonata Arctica will play at Belgium’s Prog Power & Metal festival next spring. The festival takes place between 7th and 8th of April, however the band’s show date will be announced later.

Sonata Arctica yhtye näyttää “Live in Finland” DVD-pakettinsa kohokohdan, keväällä 2011 Oulun Teatriassa kuvatun täysimittaisen keikan, yhtyeen kotikaupungissaan Kemissä. Ennakkonäytös joka on Maailman Ensi-ilta, pidetään Bar Koodissa 3.11.

Ovet aukeavat klo 20.00, näytös alkaa klo 21.00 kestäen noin puolitoista tuntia.
Tapahtuma on kaikille täysi-ikäisille avoin ja tilaisuuteen on vapaa pääsy.

Sonata Arctica taltioi uusimman DVD:nsä massiivisen The Days of Grays-maailmankiertueen aikana. Kiertue kesti 2 vuotta jonka aikana yhtye soitti yli 180 keikkaa 38 maassa. Tupla DVD-paketti sisältää Oulun Teatriassa kuvatun keikan lisäksi runsaasti lisämateriaalia: mm. yhtyeen omalta Sonata Arctica Open Air festivaalilta kuvattua materiaalia, kiertuedokumenttejä, musiikkivideoita seka kuvagallerioita.
Sonata Arctica työstää parhaillaan seitsemättä, vielä nimeämätöntä albumiaan. Sonata Arctican kaikki studioalbumit sekä edellinen DVD ovat myyneet suomessa kulta-levyyn oikeuttavan määrän. Sonata Arctican seuraava maailmankiertue käynnistyy levyn julkaisemisen yhteydessä kevään 2012 lopulla.

Sonata Arctica “Live in Finland” World Premiere

Sonata Arctica will show the highlight of their new DVD, the main show filmed at Teatria, Oulu (in April 2011) in their hometown Kemi. The World Premiere will take place at Bar Koodi on November 3rd. Doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm. The event is free of charge and open to everyone 18 years of age and older.
