SONATA ARCTICA have unveiled the new artwork, track listing as well as the album title of their forthcoming album.

“THE DAYS OF GRAYS” will see a worldwide release (excluding Asia) through Nuclear Blast Records on September 18th, 2009 (September 16th in Finland and September 22nd in the USA).

Kemi-Tornio alueen kehittämiskeskus nimesi vuoden seutukuntalaisen.
Vuoden 2008 seutukuntalaiseksi valittiin Sonata Arctica.
Sonata Arctica on niittänyt laajalti kuuluisuutta tuoden samalla Kemi-Tornio aluetta positiivisesti esille.
Sonata Arctica palkitiiin seutuvaltuuston yhteydessä ke 29.4.2009.

SONATA ARCTICA OPEN AIR 2009:
KEMIN RANNASSA JYRISEE JA PAUKKUU TAAS ELOKUUSSA

Sonata Arctica Open Air -festivaali järjestetään jälleen Kemissä 8. elokuuta 2009.
Lavalla nähdään SONATA ARCTICAn lisäksi Vaasalainen STURM UND DRANG.
Edellisen kotiyleisölle järjestetyn menestyskonsertin tapaan Kemin rannan Makasiinien alue muuntuu suureksi ulkoilmafestivaalialueeksi.
Kun tapahtuma järjestettiin ensimmäistä kertaa syksyllä 2006, Meripuistoon kokoontui noin 3 000 hyvän musiikin ystävää.
Kemin sisäsataman mainio tapahtuma-alue mahdollistaa tällä kertaa jopa 4 000 henkeä ylittävän kapasiteetin.
Konsertti avaa Sonata Arctican maailmankiertueen ja luvassa on varsinainen spektaakkeli!
